How SDK Licensing Works
ForceSeatMI SDK licenses are assigned per motion unit, not per developer.
Each SDK license is permanently linked to a specific motion unit using its serial number and cannot be transferred to another unit after activation.
Licensing Per Build
SDK licensing is applied per “build,” where a build refers to a single PC setup.
A single build may include multiple motion units connected to the same PC. In these cases, only one SDK license is required for the entire build.
Examples of supported build configurations include:
- 1 × Motion V3 Platform
- 1 × Motion Plus Platform
- 1 × Motion V3 Platform + 1 × Motion Plus Platform
- 2 × Motion Plus Platforms
If multiple SDK-licensed motion units are connected to the same PC, those units may be moved between builds while retaining SDK functionality, provided they remain within the licensed build environment.
Multiple Build Requirements
If you are operating multiple independent builds that do not share the same PC, each build will require its own SDK license.
Each additional build is licensed separately at the pricing listed above.
Wide-Market Application Licensing
For publicly distributed software applications, such as games released on platforms like Steam, SDK licensing is typically managed using an AppID-based licensing system.
