Product Overview

The HF8 and HF8 Pro are advanced haptic feedback pads by Next Level Racing, featuring eight vibration zones to add localized tactile feedback to racing, flight, and gaming simulation. The standard HF8 allows basic tactile immersion, while the HF8 Pro adds 200% increased torque within the motors, premium Simaero breathable mesh, and upgraded high-density foam.

Q: Can I use HF8 on consoles?
A: Yes, via 3.5 mm audio jack for sound-based haptics. Full telemetry control requires a Windows PC with HFS.

Q: HF8 vs HF8 Pro – what’s the difference?
A: HF8 Pro offers more intense; over 400% more power, ultra-low latency, enhanced materials, and advanced HFS software that runs at 75 FPS.

Q: Can vibration for each zone be customized individually?
A: Yes, on PC using HFS, click into your game’s profile and adjust the sliders to your desired settings.

Q: Is SimHub integration available?
A: Yes, SimHub can pass telemetry to HF8/HF8 Pro, including other Telemetry reading machines simultaneously, such as Motion Platforms or Bass Shakers.

Setup and Installation (Summarised) 

1. Review safety guidelines in the manual; and Download HFS Software from [Downloads Page]; Serial Number required (found on the Control Box).
2. There are two possible set-ups with both HF8 and HF8 Pro; 
   
   Option 1: (PC Mode) is via USB direct to a PC using the Next Level Racing HFS software to control the HF8 PRO for a controlled immersive experience.

Option 2: (Sound Capture Mode) is used when you are using the HF8 PRO connected to a 3.5mm audio jack.

1. Connect the attached plug to the Power Adapter.
2. Connect the following:
   • The Power Adapter to the Next Level Racing HF8/HF8 PRO
   • The Power Adapter to the Power Supply.
3. Use the straps on the Next Level Racing HF8 PRO to attach the pad to the chair.
4. Short press on the knob (located on the controller) to switch ON the Next Level Racing HF8/HF8 PRO.

Result: will default to last used mode (solid light for PC or flashing light for Sound Capture) Vibration Intensity Settings.

Increase: (Red LED light) or decrease (Green LED light) the vibration intensity by rotating the button (located on the controller).

How to Set-up Simhub:

Troubleshooting:

No vibration on PC:
Ensure HFS is installed, and the HF8 is powered, and the correct game profile is selected in HFS.

No console haptics:
Check the 3.5 mm connection to controller’s audio output, and the LED Light Indicator on the Control Box is Flashing Green, Yellow or Red, which indicates Sound Capture Mode.
